RIDING FAQ
What's the time commitment?
Rides vary depending on the cause we're supporting. Some rides may include 3 or 4 stops to help different causes and othe's may only make one stop. When you receive an invite for a ride, it will have details on timing and how many stops we'll be making. In general, the time commitment is 4 to 5 hours.
What should I wear?
Typically, rides are very causal. You might be helping people in a homeless shelter, at their home or outdoors on a building site. When you receive your invite for the ride, there will be specific details and suggestions on what to wear.
What should I bring?
You won't need much for our rides. Do Good Bus is commited to eliminating plastic bottles from our events -- so PLEASE BRING A REUSABLE CONTAINER to fill with water. Any personal items you do bring can be left on the bus and will be secure with one of our staff members. Some rides may require gloves, craft materials or special tools...but your invite will have a special request for those items if they're needed.
Are there any age requirements?
If you're 18+, you're good to go! If you're 15 - 17 years old, you'll need a waiver signed by your parents. All passengers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
