Do Good Bus Branches Out With New Program, Web Site

Redesigned web site allows riders to sign up for exclusive experiences with a charitable twist.

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2013 — Building on the success of its Winter Road Trip, the Do Good Bus now offers its fans and followers the chance to socialize, try out new beverages and products, hear new music — all while doing good in the community. Do Good Bus Exclusive, the latest budding branch in the Do Good Bus tree, takes the “party bus” concept to a higher level — offering unique experiences that benefit local causes and charities.

“Building communities and doing good doesn’t have to be dull,” said Rebecca Pontius, founder of the Do Good Bus. “We want to take the friendly, philanthropic spirit of our Public Community Ride experience and turn up the volume on the fun. Riders who participate in an Exclusive will get a meal, adult beverages, a VIP gift bag and access to something fabulous, like a first taste of a new local brew or private concert from a hot new band.”

Future riders can learn more about the Do Good Bus Exclusive at the organization’s new and improved web site, dogoodbus.com. The new site also features videos, photos, upcoming events and links to great publicity about the Bus in Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, NBC News and more.

The Do Good Bus will make its next stop in New York City on Saturday, Feb. 16, followed by Seattle (Mar. 2) and Salt Lake City (Mar. 23). Tickets are still available for New York and Seattle and start at $30. Beverages and lunch are included; in general the time commitment is four to five hours.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, the Do Good Bus is an opportunity to get involved and help your community. Just get on the bus and we do the rest. Each trip is different and the locations are a secret. You never know where you’ll end up and what you might end up doing.  If you have always wanted to get involved, volunteer or help others but didn’t know how, hop on the Do Good Bus!
